I am writing this open letter in a very concerned matter and very simply to say this to you, one of the founding farthers of modern high powered gaming machines, please, just please.
Make Up Your Fucking Mind.

Kind Regards,
Carrick,
Xbox 360 Owner - For A Reason.
Yes, i’m aware Microsoft are bringing out a larger capacity 60 gig model of their mainstream console at the same price in a similar move to this one made by Sony, thing is, this is the second time they’ve done this within 12 months.
The main stem of annoyance is that working in a game shop, as i do, replacing 40 gig models will again be just as annoying as replacing the now legacy 60 gig model in that the user loses all their data and has to do everything again.
“But Lee, it’s the same as the 360!”
No, it’s not.
20 gig is phased out, 60 gig comes into town, 20 gig machine breaks, they bring it back we swap out the harddrives and they walk away with a new machine complete with all their data. Easy.
It’s a pain in the arse doing this with the PS3.
I suppose atleast this time they arn’t binning yet more features.
Granted i do far prefer the M$ machine this time around and this seems fairly biased but Sony really don’t make it any easier for themselves…
I love Shaun of the Dead, fantastic bit of British cinema and now i own it on HD DVD!
I bought the HD DVD player add on for my Xbox 360 t’other day as they were reduced to all of £18 at work brand spanking new, so im quite happy as now i can bask in the joys of £4 high definition films all i like!
I currently own, 300, Bourne Trillogy, 40 Year Old Virgin and Shaun of the Dead in fucking ace high def all for all of £30.
I do believe i win.
Also i wont burn in Hell for not watching the Indiana Jones films as i’ve now seen them all, with the exception of the seemingly hit and miss Crystal Skull. I’ll simply burn in hell for not seeing the Terminator or Alien films.
Christ i’m a noob.
I’m off to Geek-Splooge at the Microsoft E3 Press Conference!
Squeeeeeeee!
So, now i’ve seen Raiders it means i wont forever burn in hell fire for this particular sin which is all good i suppose. This also means i actually get some of the jokes and light heartedness in Lego Indy which i’ve played through the first film off, thank god for that.
Also the “Top Men… Top Men” reference in Family Guy.
How i’ve missed out on these films i don’t actually know but thankfully i am filling in a good 9 hours of missing childhood.
Here comes Short-Round and i already find him slightly annoying although he is funny in parts so i guess i’d best get off to watching the rest of Temple of Doom although i don’t quite know why Indy is followed about by Shorty i guess i’ll find out.
And now i know! Watching these might actually make me want to finish LEGO Indy too.
Hey Lady! You Call Him Doctor Jones!
Good Times.
Quite shamefully i am now, for the first time ever, watching Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.
I know i know, please don’t hurt me - i get enough stick at work for not having seen any of them, or any of the Alien films…
Anywhom, went to see Kung Fu Panda the other day after work and really, really enjoyed it. Good fun film im sure anyone can enjoy, really entertaining in it’s entirity and fucking hilarious in parts, deffinetly go see it - many win!
In regards to the now long dead format of HD DVD, I’m thinking of buying the add-on for the 360 to buy a heap of cheap HD movies since most places are selling them off plus when I’m old and grey i can show the younglings a format of old and how “back in my day” it was all about Blu Ray and HD-DVD, much like the ranting tales of BetaMax and VHS with it’s pornographic supremecy.
Anyway, more on that when and if i buy one!
Hopefully Glasto diaries will appear soon!
Hopefully.
Christ Sony are fucking wizards.
Check out this link for some PS3 related joy.
That is all.
(VBlog to be posted next week, no time at the moment, Glasto vids will appear though - i hope!)
